Nephrologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia's largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to Kaiser Permanente members. Our focus is on long-term health, effective prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Care is delivered across more than 40 specialties at 26 medical offices and affiliated hospitals throughout metropolitan Atlanta.

We are seeking a Board Certified Nephrologist to join our collaborative, patient-centered medical group. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional clinical care while working within an integrated healthcare system that emphasizes quality, innovation, and teamwork.

Position Highlights

Join a physician-led, multispecialty medical group.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Practice evidence-based medicine within an integrated care delivery model.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.
Manage patients with hypertension, electrolyte disorders, glomerular diseases, and other renal conditions.
Coordinate inpatient and outpatient nephrology services, including dialysis management as applicable.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support organizational goals for clinical excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
Board Eligible physicians must obtain Board Certification within the required timeframe established by the applicable specialty board and organizational credentialing requirements.
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia.
