Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medication Management Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee medication administration, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and support individuals across various care settings. Your expertise will help promote safe medication practices and enhance the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately following established protocols, including oral, topical, and injectable forms
Maintain precise medical documentation
Assist with medication reconciliation and review medical records to ensure proper treatment plans are followed
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times
Perform medication counts and documentation
Conduct oversight and compliance checks
Ensure safe storage, handling, and administration processes
Communicate with program leadership regarding medication‑related needs

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist OR Pharmacy Technician with 10+ years of experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with medication counting and oversight
Ability to work independently and maintain compliance standards

Requirements

This position offers a flexible schedule but requires availability 2–3 days/evenings/overnights per week to complete required oversight tasks.

The individual may submit a weekly set schedule as long as it fully fulfils the 10-hour requirement and includes 2-3 touchpoints per week.

Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical documentation standards
Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, hospice or palliative care settings, and dementia care
Strong understanding of medication administration procedures

Licensed Pharmacist: $65.00 per hour

Pharmacy Technician (10+years’ experience) $25.00-$30.00 per hour
