Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) ($2,304/Week)

Location: Osage, IA 50461
Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) / Critical Access
Job Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Schedule: Every 3rd Weekend & Every 3rd Holiday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We are urgently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment in Osage, Iowa. This opportunity is ideal for highly experienced ER nurses with Critical Access Hospital experience who are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Due to the staffing model, the selected RN may be the only ER nurse scheduled for the shift, making strong emergency nursing experience and independent clinical judgment essential.

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Iowa or a Compact State
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Critical Access Hospital experience – Required
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current TNCC Certification
Current PALS Certification
Cerner EMR experience – Required
Strong emergency assessment, triage, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, monitoring, and appropriate nursing interventions.
Administer medications, IV therapy, emergency treatments, and physician-ordered care.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies while working independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR while following facility policies and patient safety standards.

Bonus & Benefits + Salary

Travel ER RN – W2 + Tax-Free Stipend Package

Blended Hourly Rate: $64.00/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,304/week
Taxable Hourly Rate: $30.00/hour
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,224/week

Schedule: Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday
