Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. The Host plays a vital role in the success of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage the restaurant's front-of-house operations, including seating guests, taking reservations, and handling phone calls.
- Utilize our POS system to efficiently manage tables, take orders, and process payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and addressing any concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including restocking supplies and ensuring all areas are tidy.
- Assist with food service by delivering food to tables and handling special requests.
- Help with general restaurant duties, including taking out the trash, restocking supplies, and supporting other staff members.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette by answering phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional hospitality to all guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Skills

- Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using a POS system, specifically TOAST POS.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette.
- A passion for providing exceptional guest services and hospitality.
- Ability to help with general restaurant duties.
- Knowledge of food service operations.
- Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment with guest services.
