Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in group home settings. Your role will involve implementing behavior management strategies, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their individualized care plans
- Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote a safe and supportive environment
- Administer first aid when necessary and seek medical assistance as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
- Support individuals with daily living skills
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Participate in recreational activities and social outings with residents

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in or similar settings preferred
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards individuals with diverse needs
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
