Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. This dynamic role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to ensuring top-tier food safety standards. As a key leader in our hospitality environment, you will inspire your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining efficient, cost-effective kitchen management. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes high performance and professional growth
Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating dietary considerations and catering requirements
Oversee food production, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation meet established standards for fine dining and catering services
Manage inventory control and procurement processes to optimize food costs while maintaining sufficient stock levels for daily operations
Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning duties, and monitoring performance to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Implement cost control measures and monitor budgets to maximize profitability without compromising quality or service standards

Experience

Proven experience in food service management within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with a strong background in fine dining and catering environments
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams, managing shifts, and overseeing daily kitchen activities
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols
Familiarity with banquet operations, dietary departments, and large-scale catering services is highly desirable
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts, and foster a culture of excellence in hospitality
Prior experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing effective inventory control systems
Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer service
