Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum design to support diverse learning needs.
- Strong foundation in Education, including knowledge of instructional best practices and academic standards.
- Proficiency in Teaching and Training, with experience engaging learners and managing classroom dynamics.
- Excellent Communication abilities for interacting with students, families, colleagues, and coaches.
- Valid teaching certification or licensure in relevant subject area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
- Experience working with student-athletes or in academic settings that integrate athletics is beneficial.
- Ability to use educational technology and data to inform instruction and track student progress.

Responsibilities·
- Facilitate engaging, authentic learning experiences connected to real-world and college readiness skills.
- Teach classes, lead small groups, and guide classroom discussions and collaborative projects.
- Implement personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and the school’s mission.
- Track student progress using data and ensure learning goals are met.
- Deliver standards-based lessons that promote mastery and maintain appropriate pace.
- Provide individualized, meaningful feedback to support student growth.
- Build positive relationships and mentor students academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Maintain a structured, motivating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, school leadership, and colleagues.
- Keep accurate records and complete required reports.
- Support school accreditation efforts and participate in workshops, meetings, and professional learning.
- Attend school-sponsored evening/weekend events as required.
- Model professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid State Professional Educator’s Certificate (Grades 5–9 and/or 6–12) OR Temporary Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
- Two or more years of classroom teaching experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with technology, digital learning tools, and LMS/SIS platforms.
