Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support medical staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks such as catheter care, wound care, or basic life support techniques.
Collaborate with healthcare teams using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner to update patient records promptly and accurately.
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
Assist in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices while maintaining proper aseptic techniques.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards across various care settings including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care.

Skills

Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, or behavioral health settings.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.
Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support patient assessments and basic medical procedures.
Experience with medication administration, catheter care, phlebotomy, and vital signs monitoring.
Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges across settings like assisted living or community care.
Skilled in infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care protocols.
Competence in handling specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids safely and efficiently.
