Azure Hosting/IT Consultant

We are looking for an entry level Consultant to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who is open to new ideas, wants to learn new concepts and is willing to collaborate with others on projects. The ideal candidate will possess superb communication skills as well as strong technical documentation skills.

This challenging opportunity requires basic PC software installation and maintenance experience as well as Microsoft Office application knowledge. Critical attributes include patience, detail orientation, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a highly developed sense of responsibility.

Your Impact

Support end users in resolving IT relates issues
Install, upgrade and maintain operating system software, patches and upgrades on our client’s servers and workstations
Install MSSQL, Microsoft Dynamics on our client workstations, database servers, webservers in a hosted environment or in the cloud
Conduct desktop support
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Configure system backups and recovery
Conduct server builds
Document systems, support process and procedures
Provide after-hours support as necessary
Escalate complex issues to Manager
Perform other responsibilities as required

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or be working towards it.
Experience with Windows 7,8 and 10 Operating System, Microsoft Office applications and network accessibility
Experience with Microsoft Windows 2012/2016
Experience with MSSQL 2012,2014 and 2016 and SharePoint 2013
Experience with administering and securing IIS applications
Experience with desktop and imaging and deployment such as Hyper V and VMWare
Experience with network protocols and configurations (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
Experience with printers and wireless access points: their use and desktop integration
Experience with Dynamics GP is a plus but not required
Experience creating VM’s and networking with Microsoft Azure a plus
Must be able to interact with various levels of Management and other team members.
