Full Job Description

Town Clerk

Town of Blades

The Town of Blades is seeking a Full-Time professional, organized, and customer-focused individual to serve as the Town Clerk. This position is responsible for maintaining official municipal records, assisting residents, water billing, process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, and ensuring compliance with applicable Delaware laws and municipal procedures.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Previous municipal, government, or administrative office experience preferred.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills, and attention to details.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and standard office software.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities

· Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.

· Bilingual is plus.

The successful candidate will be offered a benefit packet, including medical, dental, vision; paid holiday’s; state of Delaware pension plan.
