CNC Programmer — Precision Manufacturing Career Opportunity

CNC Programmer Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (plus overtime and Saturdays as needed)
Pay Rate: $38-$42/hr ($2 increase upon permanent hire)

CNC Programmer Job Description:

Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment using MasterCAM, SolidWorks, and HAAS systems based on technical drawings and blueprints
Proofread drawings, determine machining requirements, and develop efficient cutting paths while maintaining product quality
Perform quality inspections, take precise measurements, and make machine adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
Troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain molds and dies, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Manufacture tooling and machine components, train new operators, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency

CNC Programmer Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience
Experience with MasterCAM, SolidWorks, and HAAS equipment preferred
Strong machining background with drill presses, lathes, vertical mills, surface grinders, and CNC machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail
Machining certification or Associate's Degree in Engineering preferred
