Full Job Description

Our client, a leading company in the New Castle, DE area, seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Auditor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in auditing, with a strong ability to ensure compliance, maintain accuracy, and uphold operational standards. This role is crucial in inspecting rebuilt pallets and ensuring shipment accuracy in alignment with company guidelines. The Auditor will work closely with operations and material handlers, emphasizing adherence to company SOPs and safety protocols. The Day-to-Day:

Inspect rebuilt pallets for accuracy based on pallet preparation and container shipment training documents.
Conduct container safety inspections using safety inspection sheets.
Verify pallet weights, pallet numbers, and shipment weights for compliance.
Validate rebuilt pallet inventory counts for accuracy.
Select and assign shipment numbers for outgoing loads with precision.
Receive incoming loads, ensuring proper storage and handling.
Hold operators and material handlers accountable to company SOPs.
Stage pallets accurately in designated lanes to support inventory accuracy.
Calibrate and validate forklift scales daily to maintain measurement reliability.
Compare items to documentation to verify assets and liabilities.
Document audit tests and findings in detailed work papers.
Prepare and discuss final audit reports with stakeholders.
Protect company assets by ensuring adherence to internal control procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have cherry-picker experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Auditor.
Proficiency in basic computer programs.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$18.00 /hr
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
