Audit Senior

SD Associates, P.C., a leading CPA firm known for providing exceptional tax and accounting services to a diverse clientele is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized Audit Senior to join our team. This position is full-time and will work from our office in Elkins Park, with hybrid flexibility.

About the position:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Audit Senior to join our team of professionals. The Audit Senior will play a critical role in overseeing the audit processes, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations and internal controls while helping to guide and manage the audit team.

Responsibilities include:

Supervise, review, and develop team members of multiple client engagements in a wide variety of industries
Perform engagements under audit, review, and compilation standards
Communicate with clients on related audit matters
Develop audit plans and coordinate with staff and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
Review reports, workpapers and management letters

Requirements:

Previous experience working for a CPA firm
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA license
Working knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage engagements
Ability to adhere to a high degree of professional standards and client confidentiality
Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
