Duties

Assist the Executive Chef in developing innovative menus that highlight quality ingredients and culinary creativity.

Oversee inventory control and food management, including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and controlling costs.
Enforce strict food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Lead and motivate kitchen staff through effective shift management, training, and performance feedback.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional dishes for large groups.

Experience

Proven experience in food service management within fine dining or upscale hospitality environments.
Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of managing teams as a chef or kitchen leader.
Extensive background in food production, catering, and restaurant operations.
Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary restrictions handling.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food safety standards.
Hands-on experience with food handling, sanitation procedures, and kitchen equipment operation.
Previous roles involving banquet experience, shift management, and menu planning are highly desirable.
