The Opportunity

Description

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated, client-facing professional to handle pre-suit case management and guide injured clients seamlessly through the legal process.

If you thrive in a collaborative legal environment, possess strong communication skills, and excel at maximizing case values through meticulous file preparation, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Manages personal injury files (auto, slip-and-fall, wrongful death) from intake through resolution.
Acts as the primary contact, providing regular case updates and support.
Requests and organize medical records, bills, and treatment documentation.
Communicates with adjusters, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel regarding claims.
Drafts demand packages, medical chronologies, and summaries for attorney review.
Monitors medical expenses, lost wages, liens, and client balances.
Keeps digital case files updated using firm legal software.
Monitors critical litigation milestones and Florida statutes of limitations.
Assists attorneys with evidence gathering, depositions, and trial preparation.
Handles new client intake and maintain strict HIPAA and firm confidentiality.

NOTE: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be considered for this position.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Set Up:Onsite at Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
3+ years of experience as a Case Manager, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant in a plaintiff personal injury firm.
Proven success working directly with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys.
Proficient in legal software like Filevine, Litify, SmartAdvocate, CASEpeer, Needles, Clio or other similar systems.
Able to accurately review, interpret, and summarize medical bills and treatment records.
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage a busy, active caseload.
Empathetic, professional, and dedicated to exceptional client service.
Prior litigation support experience is a plus but not mandatory.
