KL Tennis is a growing tennis club in West Palm Beach, Florida, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and team-oriented Tennis Professional who wants to grow with our program long-term.
Our programs include private lessons, adult clinics, league teams and junior development programs. We are committed to providing exceptional instruction, excellent customer service, and a welcoming environment for players of all ages and levels.

We focus on creating efficient schedules with minimal downtime between lessons. Coaches who are professional, reliable, personable, and committed to our program have the opportunity to progressively build a schedule of 30–40+ teaching hours per week, depending on demand, performance, client retention, and availability.
This is intended as a long-term opportunity. We are not looking for someone simply seeking a few additional teaching hours. We are looking for a coach who wants to become an important part of the KL Tennis team and grow with us.
Typical Coaching Schedule
Morning – 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Adult private lessons
- Adult clinics
- League team practices
- Strong focus on doubles instruction
Afternoon – 3:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Junior development programs
- Group classes
- Junior private lessons
Evening – 6:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Private lessons or clinics for adults
We are looking for a coach who enjoys working with both adults and juniors and can adapt their teaching style to different ages and skill levels.
Availability Requirements
Because KL Tennis manages and develops each coach’s schedule, consistent availability is essential.
Our main coaching hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM and 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
Schedules are prepared weekly. Any availability changes or time-off requests should be communicated in advance so we can continue providing excellent service to our players.
We are particularly interested in coaches who have broad availability and are able to progressively build their schedule with KL Tennis. Having significant outside coaching commitments that limit availability during our main hours may not be compatible with this position.
Tennis Exclusivity
Because KL Tennis provides clients, scheduling, marketing, and program opportunities, coaches who join our team are expected to teach tennis exclusively through KL Tennis.
This means coaches may not independently teach tennis clients, provide private tennis lessons outside KL Tennis, teach tennis for another organization, or develop separate tennis clientele outside of KL Tennis.
We are looking for coaches who are comfortable building their tennis career with KL Tennis rather than alongside another tennis business.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience, certifications, playing level, and coaching ability

Qualifications
- Previous tennis coaching experience preferred
- Minimum USTA 5.0 playing level
- Comfortable teaching adult doubles, private lessons, and junior development programs
- Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and follow the KL Tennis coaching methodology
- RSPA (formerly USPTA) and/or PTR certification is a plus, but not required
- Authorized to work in the United States
