Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Supervisor to lead our behavioral health and mental health care teams. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care. Your expertise will foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices in behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and patient assessment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Responsibilities

Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, behavioral specialists, and support staff to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for clients across various age groups, including pediatrics and adults.
Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety and stability.
Coordinate comprehensive case management services, including social work support, family involvement, and community resource linkage.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
Facilitate clinical team meetings to promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development in mental health counseling and behavioral health services.

Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field; licensure as required by state law.
Proven experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and substance use disorders.
Demonstrated expertise in clinical supervision, team leadership, and managing clinical operations within behavioral health settings.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic coding systems such as ICD-10/ICD-9 for accurate patient assessment documentation.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR management systems along with familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
Excellent communication skills for working with clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ability to handle crisis situations efficiently through crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
Experience working within hospital or outpatient settings specializing in mental health conditions like PTSD or autism spectrum disorder is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health care and addiction counseling enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive patient care.
