Full Job Description

Job Summary:
The Comprehensive Community Support Specialist coordinates and provides services and resources to individuals and families to promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency in New Mexico. The Comprehensive Community Support Specialist focuses on key areas such as parenting skills, behavior management, independent living, learning, socializing, and recreation to help clients meet their personal goals.

Ability to meet specified deadlines and manage time effectively
Strong comprehension skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and follow up on work assignments
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure without losing sight of objectives
Exemplary organizational skills
Professional appearance of documentation and work area
Reliable with good attendance
Personable, with the ability to model respect when interacting with others
Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with others
Familiarity with company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field from an accredited university with at least one year of relevant experience working with the target population
Alternatively, an Associate’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with the target population
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with the target population
Certification as a Peer or Family Specialist
Valid NM driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record
Willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment
(Bilingual) is a plus
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Must comply with a criminal background check required to work with children, including Fingerprint Clearance
