Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. POSITION SUMMARY: The Central Scheduler is responsible for accurately performing the pre-services functions for scheduled patients, which includes scheduling outpatient diagnostic procedures and completing the pre-registration and insurance verification/authorization processes.

Qualifications:

Minimum of one to two years of patient scheduling and registration experience preferred.
Requires a working knowledge of third-party payer requirements, healthcare billing, and strong customer service experience with demonstrated service excellence.
Requires the ability to prioritize and perform work in an organized, efficient and effective manner without constant supervision or direction.
Experience in data entry, collections and medical terminology preferred.
