Full Job Description

Overview

At Flourish, we are dedicated to providing quality 1:1 ABA therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. We are looking for positive, energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team. The Behavior Technician/RBT will implement behavior intervention plans written by a BCBA and provide support to enhance their quality of life. On site, 40 hour paid training is provided to help ensure our employees have the tools they need to provide the upmost treatment.

Roles of an RBT:

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Provide direct support to clients, assisting them in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
Monitor and document client progress and documentation of sessions.
Conduct assessments alongside a BCBA and contribute ideas to the development of care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to manage challenging behaviors effectively.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age
Must pass a caregiver background check
Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred but not required.
Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Ability to follow a care plan and receive constructive feedback from supervisors.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
Provide energetic, enthusiastic, and playful interactions with the clients while receiving ongoing support and supervision.
A compassionate approach to working with children and individuals with special needs is crucial.
Must actively engage with clients, sit on the floor, go from sitting to standing unassisted and lift up to 50lbs

Hours:

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM-5 PM
Full time or part time positions available based on individual needs.
Respite night/days offered but not required of employees for extra client engagement

Pay

Pay based on experience and education
$16.00-$18.00
Paid time off offerred for full time employees (30-40 hours/wk)
