Full Job Description

HireWorks has partnered with a Plano based client who is seeking a Bid Specialist to join the team. this person will help lead the end-to-end RFP process, managing proposal strategy, pricing, vendor partnerships, and submission activities. This role partners with Sales, Design, and Project Management to deliver accurate, competitive, and compliant proposals while ensuring projects move efficiently from bid through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead RFP strategy meetings and manage proposal development through final submission.
Develop pricing strategies and negotiate vendor pricing to support competitive, profitable bids.
Complete and review all RFP documentation for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Serve as the subject matter expert on product research, specifications, and order information.
Coordinate workflow across Sales, Design, Project Management, and other internal teams.
Prepare budgets, quotes, and sales orders while ensuring required documentation is complete.
Monitor project changes throughout implementation and resolve scope or pricing issues.
Maintain documentation standards and ensure adherence to company processes.
Participate in team meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design preferred or related field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in proposal management, sales support, bid coordination, or customer service.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Knowledge of vendor pricing, discounting, and product specifications.
Experience with Khameleon, ProjectSpec, and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
