Insurance experience is welcome, but it isn't required.

Requirements

We're open to experienced insurance professionals, successful salespeople from other industries, and high-potential candidates beginning their careers.

Insurance experience is not required. A commitment to learning and performing is.

Previous experience in insurance, automotive sales, financial services, banking, mortgage, real estate, recruiting, hospitality, retail management, business development, or other relationship-based sales environments is a plus, but not required.

Candidates must be willing to obtain the appropriate Texas insurance license(s) if not already licensed.

Responsibilities

As an Insurance Sales Advisor, you'll work with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, identify risks, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building relationships with prospective and existing clients
Working agency-provided leads and sales opportunities
Proactively contacting prospects through outbound calls, texts, emails, and follow-up
Quoting and selling Personal, Specialty, Life, and Commercial Insurance products
Asking thoughtful questions to uncover risks, concerns, and protection needs
Explaining insurance coverage and recommendations in language clients can understand
Preparing and presenting insurance proposals based on each client's individual needs
Cross-selling and identifying additional protection opportunities within client households
Following up consistently with prospects and asking for the business
Maintaining an organized sales pipeline and accurate client information
Learning and effectively utilizing agency systems, carrier platforms, and technology
Participating in ongoing sales training, coaching, role-play, and professional development
Meeting individual activity, sales, and performance expectations
Continuing to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to take on greater responsibility within the agency

This is an active sales position. You'll spend a meaningful portion of your day talking to people, following up, building relationships, asking for the business, and creating opportunities.
