Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities, meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience through efficient cleaning and laundry services.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency
Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care procedures to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas
Follow established safety protocols during cleaning processes to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with janitorial tasks in communal spaces like lobbies, conference rooms, and restrooms to uphold hygiene standards
Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and laundry machines safely
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in cleanliness and presentation
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and handling laundry loads
