Full Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Educational Diagnostician for a school-based role in Denton, TX for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time position (on site 4 days/week, work from home 1 day/week!) supporting a local school district with psychoeducational evaluation services and is ideal for TEA certified candidates who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Unlike traditional school district hiring, working with The Stepping Stones Group means you're backed by a team built by School Psychologists, for School Psychologists - with clinical leadership, real support, and a career infrastructure designed around your profession.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current license as an Educational Based Diagnostician in TX through TEA
Graduate from an EBD program
Prior experience in a school-based special education setting preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Administer and interpret standardized assessments evaluating cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional development
Write detailed evaluation reports and attend ARD/IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plans
Ensure all evaluations comply with state and federal special education law (IDEA) and TEA guidelines
