Full Job Description

Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team. This is a long-term onsite contract opportunity in Aurora, Colorado, in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.

You will provide high-quality anesthesiology services across a broad range of surgical, procedural, and perioperative settings while working alongside a dedicated group of medical professionals in a setting that follows nationally recognized standards of care. Multiple positions may be available, offering the opportunity to be part of a strong, team-oriented practice.

What You’ll Do

Provide general anesthesia care, preoperative and postoperative care, acute pain management, sedation, airway assistance, and CPR support as needed
Perform or supervise anesthesia services in operating room and procedural settings
Support cases involving orthopedic joint replacement, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic, ophthalmologic, gastrointestinal, radiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac catheterization procedures
Provide timely consultative services in bedside and outpatient clinical settings
Complete required documentation, maintain patient safety standards, and participate in quality improvement activities

What We’re Looking For

MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility through the American Board of Anesthesiology
Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or Washington, D.C.
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
Ability to complete credentialing, privileging, required health screenings, and compliance training

Schedule & Coverage

Weekday operating room coverage, generally Monday through Friday
10-hour onsite shifts
Call coverage may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
On-call providers must be available by phone within 15 minutes
On-call providers must be able to report onsite within 60 minutes when clinically needed
