Job Description: HOA Assistant General Manager (Greenwood Village)

Job Title: HOA Assistant General Manager
Department: Property Management/Operations
Reports To: HOA General Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Denver, CO

Salary: $60,000 Annually

Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Tues-Sat

Position Summary

The HOA Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the HOA General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a luxury high-rise Homeowners Association (HOA) in the Greenwood Village area. The HOA AGM is responsible for supporting operational execution, leading front-of-house services, enhancing resident experience, and ensuring consistent delivery of community standards and procedures. This role serves as a key operational leader for the community and acts as Manager on Duty when appropriate. The HOA AGM supports staff development, resident communication, operational consistency, and coordination of community activities while helping ensure an exceptional resident experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

Support day-to-day community operations and service delivery.
Monitor and maintain resident request systems and operational software platforms.
Coordinate resident moves, deliveries, loading dock reservations, and elevator scheduling.
Ensure resident concerns and requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
Support implementation and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional environment throughout the community.

Leadership and Team Development

Lead and support Front Desk/Concierge personnel and related front-of-house staff.
Develop schedules for front desk personnel and ensure appropriate staffing coverage.
Train and coach front desk staff and provide ongoing guidance and support.
Communicate operational updates and expectations to staff regularly.
Support development of a culture centered around service, accountability, and hospitality.

High-Rise Operations

Act as Manager on Duty when required.
Support coordination with vendors and shared facilities personnel as appropriate.
Assist in monitoring building operations and resident service delivery.
Support safe and secure building operations.
Maintain awareness of resident needs and proactively identify service opportunities.

Process Development and Operational Structure

Assist in development and refinement of operational procedures.
Assess and improve documentation related to front desk operations and community procedures.
Support consistency and efficiency of workflows and operational systems.
Assist in maintaining operational documentation and procedures.

Financial Oversight

Support invoice tracking and administrative financial processes as assigned.
Assist with gathering operational information needed for budgeting and planning discussions.
Support vendor coordination and cost management initiatives.

Board and Client Relations

Assist with preparation of Board meeting materials and supporting documentation.
Attend Board meetings and working sessions as requested.
Record meeting minutes and maintain follow-up items as assigned.
Support resident communication and community engagement efforts.
Assist the General Manager with implementation of Board goals and priorities.

Qualifications

High-rise, hospitality, HOA, or property management experience preferred
Experience leading or supervising employees preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Proficiency with common technology platforms and operational software systems
