Full Job Description

We are looking for a PRN nurse to perform Ketamine injections for Ketamine Assisted Therapy patients..

Delos Psychiatry is a growing practice based in Boulder, CO with an emphasis on cutting-edge treatments, including ketamine-assisted therapy, integrative psychiatry, and TMS. We want to give patients the best possible psychiatric care they can find. We have a familial culture and want our employees and partners to live happy, meaningful lives.

Benefits:

$50 per hour
Accrued sick time is provided in accordance with Colorado law.
401(k) eligibility begins after 90 days of employment.
Flexible PRN schedule between hours of 9-5, Monday-Friday - Scheduling needs may vary week-to-week based on patient volume.

Skills/Qualifications:

Unrestricted nursing license in the state of Colorado
Excellent bedside manner and people skills
Reliable transportation
Experience with Ketamine, Ketamine Therapy, or Psychedelic Therapy strongly required.
Must be comfortable supporting clients through a 2 hour session
Living with 30 miles of Delos Psychiatry preferred.

Job description:

1-5 sessions per day
One hour appointments for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy or 2 hour appointments for Ketamine Infusions without Psychotherapy.
Administer Ketamine intramuscular injections to Ketamine Assisted Therapy patients.
Administer IV Ketamine or intramuscular injections to Ketamine Infusion only patients.
Ask patients screening questions prior to injection.
Obtain weight, vitals, and pregnancy tests before injection. Screen for nausea and motion sickness.
Update controlled substances log.
Communicate with Ketamine team on scheduling, dose adjustments, and other related modalities.
Monitoring patient response during sessions and escalating concerns to the clinical team as needed.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
