Jobs: Exceptional Maitre'd as Lead Hosts

Job Location: The Brinkerhoff Restaurant

Job Type: Full-time 33-40 hours per week, Weekends and Sundays required

Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in fine dining restaurants

Total Compensation: $25-$30/ hour based upon experience

Lead Host | The Brinkerhoff Restaurant

Do you have a passion for hospitality and a natural gift for making guests feel truly welcomed? The Brinkerhoff is seeking experienced, polished Lead Hosts who bring warmth, elegance, and attention to detail to every interaction.

This role is perfect for hospitality professionals who understand that the guest experience begins the moment they walk through the door.

What You’ll Do

Create a gracious first impression by warmly greeting and seating guests
Manage reservations with precision and care
Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and kindness
Maintain an elevated, welcoming atmosphere throughout service

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years of fine dining hosting experience
Confident, friendly, and professional presence
Strong communication and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
A genuine passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences

Requirements of the Job:

Certifications Required:

· Serve Safe Food Handler Certification

· TIPs certification

Shifts:

· 6-8-hour shifts

· Day shift

· Evening shift

· Weekend shifts

Physical:

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

· Manual dexterity of commonly found restaurant equipment items.

· Ability to handle a fast-paced environment which may require long hours.

· Tolerating extreme temperatures due to inclement weather and working inside and outside the restaurant.

· Exposed to high temperatures with heat and oil.
