POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Door, Frame, Hardware & Access Control Professional supports the full life cycle of commercial openings, including installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, service, repair, replacement, modernization, documentation, and turnover. The work directly affects life safety, fire and smoke compartmentation, accessibility, security, infection prevention, energy performance, and uninterrupted facility operations.
This opportunity is designed for self-motivated professionals who can work independently, diagnose complete opening-system failures, communicate clearly with facility personnel, and safely install, repair, replace, adjust, and maintain doors, frames, hardware, automatic operators, and access-control components. The opportunity may be structured around the right candidate when technical capability, leadership, transferable experience, and cultural fit justify doing so.
Most work will be performed in active, occupied facilities where professionalism, cleanliness, communication, documentation, and coordination are as important as technical skill. Candidates must be capable of working with minimal supervision while knowing when to escalate safety, code, access-control, or customer-impact issues.
