Full Job Description

We are a family oriented private Optometric Practice. We have been providing eyecare to generations of patients for 50 years. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, friendly team member who is passionate about caring for our patients.

Assistant duties include opening and sanitizing examination and prescreening rooms. Managing patient schedule and flow. Prescreening patients using autorefractor, topographer, Optos, OCT, VF, and Icare. Completing case history and visual acuities and entering into Crystal PM EMR software. Training patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses. Ordering and maintaining stock of contact lenses.

Additional duties include answering phones, scheduling patients, verifying insurance benefits, and scanning/faxing documents.

Benefits include Commission in addition to base pay, Health and Dental insurance, retirement plan matching, paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, and discounts on eyewear.

Hours include Monday, Tuesday 8:30-5:30, Wednesday 8:30-7:00, Friday, Saturday 8:30-2:00
