Area Manager - Dental

The Area Manager is responsible for leading the operational success of multiple dental practices within an assigned region. This strategic leadership role focuses on developing high-performing teams, driving practice performance, and partnering with doctors and office leaders to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

You will oversee a portfolio of dental offices, serving as a key operational partner to practice teams by setting the vision, building strong cultures, improving performance, and ensuring each location achieves its clinical, operational, and financial goals.

What You’ll Do

▸ Lead, coach, and develop Office Managers and practice teams across multiple dental locations to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.

▸ Partner with doctors and leadership teams to improve practice performance, patient satisfaction, team engagement, and overall practice growth.

▸ Drive accountability for key business metrics, including revenue growth, production, collections, expenses, staffing, and profitability.

▸ Analyze practice performance data and implement strategies to improve efficiency, workflows, and patient experience.

▸ Support talent development by identifying, mentoring, and developing future leaders within the organization.

▸ Build and maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all assigned locations.

▸ Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure practices are properly staffed with engaged, high-performing teams.

▸ Serve as a trusted resource for Office Managers and teams by providing guidance, problem-solving support, and operational expertise.

Ideal Candidate

We’re seeking an experienced multi-site healthcare leader who is passionate about developing teams, improving operations, and creating exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in dental, medical, or healthcare operations and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

▸ Previous multi-site management experience within a dental, medical, healthcare, or related service environment.

▸ Demonstrated success managing operational performance and financial results across multiple locations.

▸ Strong understanding of practice operations, KPIs, and performance improvement strategies.

▸ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

▸ Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

▸ Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.

▸ Proven ability to coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams.

▸ Ability to build strong partnerships with doctors, office leaders, and cross-functional teams.

▸ Passion for creating outstanding patient experiences and supporting teams in delivering high-quality care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
