Job Title: Director of Marketing/Business Development

Company: Saratoga Hot Springs Resort ( Saratoga,Wyoming)

Preferred Candidate Location: Denver, Front Range, or Fort Collins, with flexibility to travel to Wyoming for key events

Reports To: Owners of International Resort Property (based in North Denver) and occasion to the GM of the Resort

Position Type: Full-time

About the Saratoga Hot Springs Resort & Affiliated Businesses

The Saratoga Hot Springs Resort is a premier Wyoming destination offering an exceptional blend of hospitality, relaxation, conference facilities, craft brewing, spa services, dining, and year‑round outdoor adventure.

This historic property features four distinct brands within one destination:

Saratoga Hot Springs Resort
Saratoga Conference & Event Center
Wyoming Outdoor Adventure Center
Snowy Mountain Brewery

Saratoga Hot Springs Resort The resort is home to natural mineral hot spring pools and offers lodging across 50 guest rooms and three rental homes. Guests enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, along with access to the Healing Water Spa, which provides a full range of treatments for both resort guests and the local community.

Saratoga Conference & Event Center Opening in summer 2026, the new conference and event center will accommodate 70–100 guests, with additional breakout rooms designed for expanded meetings, retreats, and corporate events.

Wyoming Outdoor Adventure Center This year‑round adventure hub offers UTV and snowmobile rentals for both summer and winter seasons. The property also features an on‑site 9‑hole golf course. In early 2027, construction will be completed on a new facility featuring two indoor pickleball courts and a fitness center, further expanding recreational offerings.

Snowy Mountain Brewery As the third‑oldest brewery in Wyoming, Snowy Mountain Brewery typically features 8–10 fresh brews on tap. The brewery includes a beer garden and a full canning line for take‑home selections of its award‑winning beers. A full‑time brewmaster oversees all production.

Role Focus

The primary responsibility of this position is to drive year‑round lodging occupancy, launch and grow the new conference center, and expand customer demand for both snowmobile and UTV rentals. Additionally, the Director will play a key role in increasing group bookings and corporate events across the property’s four brands.

Position Summary The Director of Sales & Marketing is a strategic, creative, and results‑driven leader responsible for shaping and executing the full marketing vision for the Saratoga Hot Springs Resort and its affiliated businesses. This role oversees all marketing initiatives, including multi‑channel campaigns, digital strategy, social media, trade show presence, and targeted event promotion. The Director will cultivate strategic partnerships, enhance brand cohesion across multiple business lines, and generate measurable growth through innovative marketing and sales efforts.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in hospitality and multi‑brand marketing, a strong command of both digital and traditional marketing tools, and the ability to unify diverse brands under a clear, compelling strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi‑Company Event & Trade Show Management

Represent and promote the resort and its affiliated businesses at key industry events, trade shows, and networking functions (e.g., Snowmobile Expo, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Home & Garden Shows, Great American Beer Festival).
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of on‑site events designed to increase foot traffic and revenue across the resort, Snowy Mountain Brewery, and Wyoming Outdoor Adventures. Core annual responsibilities include hosting one major UTV event, three snowmobile rallies, and the Saratoga Brew Festival.
Identify, secure, and manage corporate sponsorships and group bookings to expand exposure and drive high‑value business. Priority groups include yoga retreats, weddings, law firms, corporate retreats, healthcare organizations, holiday parties, insurance groups, church organizations, and family reunions—particularly targeting the Front Range and Southwest Wyoming markets.
Coordinate all event logistics, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

2. Business Development & Partnership Management

Identify, negotiate, and cultivate strategic partnerships with tourism boards (e.g., Visit Wyoming), media outlets, and complementary businesses to increase visibility and attract target audiences.
Develop joint marketing campaigns and package offerings that highlight the synergy between the resort, brewery, and outdoor adventure brands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, community leaders, and stakeholders to foster loyalty, repeat business, and long‑term growth.

3. Strategic Marketing & Brand Management

Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi‑brand annual marketing plan aligned with revenue goals for the Resort, Snowy Mountain Brewery, and Wyoming Outdoor Adventures.
Craft compelling brand messaging that differentiates each business while maintaining a cohesive overarching brand identity.
Conduct market research to analyze trends, evaluate competitors, and identify new opportunities for growth across all entities.
Collaborate closely with ownership and business leaders to define revenue targets and allocate marketing budgets. Bi‑monthly meetings with the owners are a core responsibility.
Represent the resort and affiliated businesses at major annual events, including Cheyenne Frontier Days, North Colorado Home & Garden Show, Snowmobile Poker Run, and others.

4. Digital Marketing & Social Media

Evaluate and enhance all digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, and PPC advertising for each brand.
Lead social media strategy and content creation to increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness across platforms.
Strengthen online presence by leveraging Google Reviews, Yelp, YouTube, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and other digital channels.
Manage email marketing and CRM initiatives to drive customer loyalty and repeat visitation.
Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance, using data insights to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.

5. Leadership & Collaboration

Partner with sales, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure cohesive strategies and exceptional guest experiences.
Serve as the primary liaison for marketing initiatives across all affiliated resort properties.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within hospitality, tourism, or multi‑brand environments.
Proven success in developing and executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns and event strategies.
Strong expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, social media management, and CRM platforms.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in strategic event planning, execution, and sponsorship acquisition.
Creative, results‑driven mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Willingness to travel for events and trade shows as needed.
