Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Healing Center Denver is seeking a highly trained Functional Medicine Clinical Coordinator to become an integral part of our patient care team.

This is not an administrative or patient scheduling role.

We are looking for someone who is already well-versed in functional medicine and capable of helping patients understand their lab results, nutrition plans, supplement protocols, lifestyle recommendations, and healing process.

The ideal candidate is passionate about root-cause medicine and has a strong foundation in metabolism, hormones, gut health, autoimmune disease, nervous system regulation, and chronic illness recovery.

You will work directly alongside Dr. Marie Starling, supporting complex patient cases and helping patients navigate the physical and emotional challenges that often accompany chronic illness and healing.

This position requires clinical thinking, emotional intelligence, patient education skills, and a genuine desire to help people transform their health.

HOURS

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9am-6pm

Friday: 9am-3pm

COMPENSATION

$24–$25 per hour, depending on experience, training, credentials, and functional medicine background.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in functional medicine, nutrition, metabolism, and patient care. Candidates with advanced training, certifications, or significant clinical experience may qualify for higher compensation.

Opportunities for compensation growth and expanded responsibilities are available as the role evolves.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review patient cases and assist with clinical care coordination
Educate patients regarding nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle recommendations, and functional medicine principles
Help patients understand laboratory findings and recommendations provided by Dr. Starling
Support implementation of hormone, gut, autoimmune, metabolic, detoxification, and neurocognitive protocols
Provide ongoing clinical support between appointments
Identify patient barriers, challenges, and compliance issues and help develop practical solutions
Offer compassionate guidance through the emotional aspects of chronic illness and healing
Review symptom tracking and patient progress
Coordinate specialty testing, supplement recommendations, and patient resources
Maintain accurate documentation and communication within clinic systems
Participate in clinical trainings, case reviews, and continuing education
Assist in creating educational content, workshops, webinars, blogs, and patient resources
