Press Brake Operator / Setup / Programmer - Sheet Metal Fabricator
H&H Metals is looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake setup programmer operator to add to our team. Applicants for this position must be highly experienced, and the pay will be based on level of experience and other factors. We are looking for a self-motivated, stable, individual that can thrive in an independent fast-paced role. H&H Metals has been an industry leader since 1980, and we pride ourselves on retaining employees’ long term. We have a wide customer base with a large variety of projects to keep things interesting.
Scope of Work:
· Fabrication of sheet metal projects including, but not limited to running:
o Primary Job Duties
§ Shears
§ Press brakes & Folding Machines
§ Forklift (sit down warehouse style)
o Occasional Equipment
§ Saws (extrusion or horizontal band)
§ Punches & Drills
§ Overhead bridge crane (for loading saws) or Jib Cranes (for loading press brake tooling)
§ Any other tools involved in the metalworking industry (sanding, grinding, etc)
Responsibilities include:
· Must be able to perform set up, programming, and operation of Press Brakes
· Read/interpret part drawings to accurately calculate bend deductions and bend radiuses.
· Thoughtfully analyze parts to select proper tooling and bend sequence.
· Keep accurate track of time and materials on jobs via company ERP system handled scanners or cell phone device if preferred.
· Keep materials, tools, and equipment orderly.
· Demonstrate safe work environment practices.
· Work as a team to coordinate workflow in press brake area.
· Work independently or as a team depending on part size and types of parts being produced.

Physical Functions:
· Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, climb, kneel, balance push, pull and reach overhead.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist (handle brake tooling), and also minor weight overhead (manipulating parts)
· Must be able to turn long sheet metal parts around with arms/hands and twist at the waist.
· Constant movement and/or standing on your feet.
· Must have good vision (normal or corrected)

Schedule:
· Full-Time: 40-hour work weeks with the possibility of overtime on occasion.
· Day shift only 6 AM – 4:30 PM
· 4-day work week. Shift will either be Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday depending on scheduling needs for coverage on shop floor at time of hire. This would be a normal shift schedule and does not fluctuate as a normal course of business.
· No nights or weekends. Any overtime is worked on normally off weekday.
Pay range:
· $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience.
Training:
· Primarily this position is trained by mentorship and shadowing of newer operators by highly skilled staff.
· Machine operation and safety webinar training.
· Company provided safety training for forklifts, respirators, and other general safety meetings.
Qualifications:
· You must be able to provide documentation of legal work status or citizenship in the United States of America.

Location:
· This is NOT a remote position, and the applicant must be able to reliably commute to work for every scheduled shift to our Thornton CO facility.
· Mainly job duties are indoors in our Press Brake & Shear Department or other location within our facility.
