BriteLock Self Storage is hiring a Part-Time Property Manager & Customer Support Specialist to support our Colorado portfolio, including Aurora, Conifer, Colorado Springs, and Denver.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of site visits, customer interaction, collections, and operational support. The role offers flexibility while providing consistent hours and clear expectations.
What You'll Be Doing
This role combines field support, property management responsibilities, and customer service functions throughout our Colorado locations.
Property Inspections & Site Audits
- Conduct routine walkthroughs at assigned facilities.
- Verify lock status and overlocks.
- Inspect gates, fences, lighting, signage, and security systems.
- Identify maintenance concerns and submit detailed reports.
- Take and upload property photos during each site visit.
Customer Service & Leasing Support
- Assist prospective customers with rentals and reservations.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding unit availability, pricing, and facility policies.
- Support move-ins, move-outs, and account management activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism.
Delinquency & Collections
- Contact tenants regarding past-due balances.
- Perform collection activities in accordance with company policies and state lien laws.
- Assist with overlock verification, auction preparation, and delinquency reduction efforts.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate customer account notes.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
- Utilize company software platforms to manage customer accounts and operational tasks.
- Assist with various projects supporting the Colorado region.
Work Model, Schedule & TravelWork Model
Hybrid Field-Based Position
Schedule
Part-Time, up to 16 hours per week depending on business needs.
Travel
Regular travel between Aurora, Conifer, Colorado Springs, and Denver locations is required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel between facilities.
Flexibility
Schedule may vary based on property needs, inspections, delinquency efforts, and special projects.
What We're Looking For Experience
- Previous self-storage experience strongly preferred.
- Property management experience in residential, commercial, retail, or storage environments preferred.
Reliability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Consistent attendance and dependable transportation.
Customer Service
- Professional communication skills both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally and confidently.
Technical Skills
- Comfortable using web-based software systems, email, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Experience with self-storage software platforms is a plus.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background screening prior to employment.
- Ability to work rotating weekends
