Oakwell Beer Spa is seeking a charismatic and detail-oriented Server & Spa Attendant (aka ‘Beer Therapists’) with a passion for hospitality and craft beverages to join our innovative wellness concept that combines a day spa with a craft beer & wine taproom!
As a Server & Spa Attendant, you will provide personalized service to guests throughout their spa experience, including recommending and serving beverages, guiding guests through our spa amenities, and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. As a champion of our 5-Star Service Standards, you will be responsible for creating a positive, upbeat atmosphere, while anticipating our guests’ every need, to ensure they have an unforgettable experience.
What is Oakwell Beer Spa? Oakwell Beer Spa is an award-winning day spa known for its beer-inspired wellness experience, combining relaxation with craft beer culture. Guests enjoy private spa suites featuring infrared saunas, rain showers, and hops-and-malt-infused hydrotherapy tubs, plus a taproom with a rotating selection of craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Server & Spa Attendant, you will:
- Serve and recommend beverages from our curated beer and wine list, leveraging knowledge of styles, tasting notes, and pairings
- Guide guests through beverage tastings at our self-pour tap wall, explaining flavor profiles and brewery highlights
- Welcome guests warmly following our 5-Star Service Standards, check IDs for legal drinking age, and maintain a professional, upbeat atmosphere
- Build rapport with guests, anticipate needs, and respond promptly to requests
- Provide spa orientation, explain amenities, and educate guests on the therapeutic benefits of hops, barley, and herbs
- Monitor appointment schedules and ensure smooth transitions between spa services
- Assist with sidework such as folding linens, restocking beverages, and cleaning glassware
- Support spa suite preparation and cleanliness
- Answer calls and messages professionally, manage reservations in our booking system, and process transactions via POS
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and company safety standards
- Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, including visual, hearing, and physical impairments
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years in a guest-facing role in a full-service restaurant, day spa, or boutique hotel (fine dining or upscale experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm about craft beer and wine; ability to make recommendations confidently
- Upbeat, charismatic personalism with polished professionalism
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and respect for attendance & punctuality
- Must possess valid U.S. work authorization
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week (five x 8-hour shifts) - weekend, night & holiday availability is required!

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay: Hourly base wage plus tips, averaging $20-30/hr (paid weekly).
