Full Job Description

Overview

Restoration Hope Counseling & Neurofeedback is seeking an experienced neurofeedback professional to join and help lead our established neurofeedback program.

This position is ideal for someone who loves the clinical and technical side of neurofeedback and is interested in making neurofeedback a meaningful focus of their career. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent direct neurofeedback services while gradually assuming greater responsibility for the quality, consistency, and growth of the program.

We are intentionally keeping the scope of this position somewhat flexible. We are open to an experienced neurofeedback technician or clinician who is ready to grow into leadership, as well as a more seasoned neurofeedback professional who is already equipped to assume significant program responsibility.

For the right person, there is substantial opportunity for this position to grow in hours, compensation, and leadership responsibility over time.

This is a neurofeedback-focused position and does not include a psychotherapy caseload.

Responsibilities

Provide neurofeedback sessions to children, adolescents, and adults in accordance with established clinical and safety standards
Conduct neurofeedback intake assessments and review relevant clinical history to help determine appropriateness for neurofeedback services
Collaborate in the development and ongoing adjustment of individualized neurofeedback treatment plans within the candidate's scope of training and expertise
Monitor client response and progress throughout neurofeedback treatment, identifying when additional assessment, consultation, or modification of treatment may be appropriate
Review neurofeedback session data and support appropriate protocol selection and modification within the candidate's scope of competence
Acquire and/or prepare QEEG data and artifact QEEG recordings for brain map review
Review and interpret QEEG/brain map findings when appropriately trained and qualified to do so
Collaborate with treating clinicians and other healthcare professionals when coordination of care is appropriate
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record and ensure services are provided in accordance with HIPAA, practice policies, and applicable professional and regulatory standards
Support quality assurance through review of neurofeedback documentation, treatment progress, and adherence to program procedures
Train, support, and serve as a clinical and technical resource for neurofeedback technicians
Assist with troubleshooting and promote consistency, safety, and quality across the neurofeedback program
Help maintain and develop neurofeedback procedures, training materials, and documentation standards
Contribute to the continued development and growth of Restoration Hope's neurofeedback program

Our Ideal Candidate

We would especially love to meet someone who has:

An LPC, LPCC, LCSW, or comparable clinical background
Meaningful hands-on experience providing neurofeedback
BCIA Board Certification in Neurofeedback, or a desire to pursue certification
Experience with QEEG acquisition and/or artifacting
Experience reviewing brain maps or working collaboratively with professionals who interpret QEEG data
Experience with neurofeedback protocol development, adjustment, or clinical oversight
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
The ability to recognize when a client's response requires consultation or a change in approach
Experience training, mentoring, or supporting other neurofeedback providers or technicians
An interest in helping build a high-quality and growing neurofeedback program

Training & Professional Development

We want this position to provide a genuine professional growth path for someone who wants to specialize in neurofeedback.

For the right candidate, Restoration Hope is prepared to invest in additional training, including approved training toward BCIA Board Certification in Neurofeedback and QEEG artifacting, based on the individual's existing experience and the needs of the program.

Candidates who already bring advanced neurofeedback, QEEG, or program leadership expertise may enter the position with a broader scope of responsibility and compensation reflective of that experience.

Schedule & Growth Opportunity

The anticipated starting schedule is approximately:

Monday–Thursday | 2:30–7:00 PM

Approximately 18 hours per week initially.

Our neurofeedback program is growing, and we would love to find someone who is interested in growing with it. For the right person, this position has the potential to develop into a full-time role with increased program leadership and responsibility.

We are particularly interested in finding someone who sees neurofeedback as a long-term professional specialty rather than a temporary or supplemental position.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on the candidate's existing neurofeedback experience, training, certification, and the level of program responsibility they are qualified to assume.

The position may include a combination of hourly compensation for direct neurofeedback services and additional compensation for program management responsibilities.

Restoration Hope will also cover approved professional training associated with the role when additional training or certification is needed.

We believe neurofeedback can be an important complement to excellent mental health care, and we are committed to developing a program that is clinically thoughtful, technically strong, and sustainable as it grows.

We're looking for someone who is excited to bring their expertise to that work—and who wants the opportunity to grow alongside the program.

Pay: $40.00 - $92.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 per week
