Clerical office duties in a medical office to include answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, scanning, filing, verify medical insurance, obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies, create referrals, appointment reminder calls. All functions are performed electronically via our electronic medical system. Must have medical clerical experience either in a clinic or hospital setting. Must be familiar with the day to day chores in a medical clinic. We will train to adapt to our clinic's protocol. But the new hire should be familiar with the medical office
The individual should have professional manner, good people skills, ready to learn and adapt, happy personality, ready to smile and take care of cardiology patients. This is a one physician clinic. We work 8 am to 5 pm or some staff work 08:30am to 05: 30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. Wednesday is always 8 am to 5 pm . The doctor does not see patients in office on Wednesday. There are few patients who come in labs and other tests. But all the staff come in to work and it is a 40 hour work week. We also pay for the major holidays

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
