Position Description. The QA/QC Administrator and Scheduler position is a critical role within Baker Electric, Inc., a subsidiary of publicly traded EMCOR Group, Inc., and is located in Des Moines, IA. The position will partner with an assigned Project Manager, or to a team of Project Managers, to assist in maintaining project schedules and assisting with Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC documentation) and processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Project Management software, such as Oracle Primavera P6.

Support QA/QC processes, including document tracking, reporting, and compliance verification.

Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy and quality standards are met.

Assist with progress tracking, reporting, and schedule analysis.

Maintain organized records and project documentation.

Cross-trains with other Project Associates and Project Manager Assistants in order to effectively assist, if necessary.

Escalates critical and/or sensitive issues to the Division Manager / Executive Team with recommendations for resolution.

Complies with all Company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.

Performs additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by executives.

Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Preferred Education and Experience (Knowledge)

Preferred 2- 5 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required: Associates Degree or higher preferred

Should have some intermediate level knowledge of project management software

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel formulas and formatting

Ability to navigate and operate independently within general Windows based operating systems and web based applications, including an ERP systems or other construction/financial software packages; ability to learn new processes within the systems

Experience with Bluebeam software preferred
