What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:

Designing and architecting scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments

Establishing infrastructure patterns, best practices, and technical standards for distributed systems

Driving infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives, working with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code approaches

Collaborating with engineering, platform, and product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architecture

Mentoring and leading technical team members, raising standards and fostering a culture of technical excellence

Evaluating emerging technologies and tools to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency

Managing stakeholder relationships across engineering, operations, and leadership to align technical decisions with organizational goals

Contributing to architecture reviews, design discussions, and technology decisions at an enterprise level
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
-
10–15 years of infrastructure, systems architecture, or cloud engineering experience

5+ years leading technical teams or mentoring engineers in infrastructure and platform design

Deep hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including infrastructure design and optimization

Strong expertise with Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration management

Proven experience architecting distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native solutions

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification (or equivalent)

Strong systems thinking, with the ability to design for scalability, reliability, and security

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience

Authorization to work in the United States
