Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Scribe and Assistant, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows. In this vital role, you will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately transcribe medical documentation, manage electronic health records (EHR), and support administrative tasks within a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities

Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient encounters, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by inputting, updating, and organizing patient information securely and efficiently
Assist healthcare providers with navigating EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems during appointments to facilitate smooth workflows
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies when handling sensitive patient data and medical records
Support patient interaction by preparing charts, scheduling appointments, and providing clear communication about medical procedures and documentation processes
Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures to accurately capture clinical details
Ensure all medical records are complete, organized, and compliant with healthcare regulations for easy retrieval and audit readiness

Requirements

Proven experience in medical office settings or as a medical scribe with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems
Strong transcription skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately under pressure
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies such as HIPAA compliance
Experience with electronic health records management and maintaining precise medical documentation
Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and report generation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room or urgent care experience preferred
Demonstrated understanding of medical records management, patient interaction protocols, and clinical confidentiality standards
