Down Island Gulf Seafood Restaurant is looking to hire a PM LINE COOK OR OYSTER SHUCKER to join our crew of high-energy, happy and talented hospitality professionals!

We are also one of the areas only chef-owned and family-operated restaurants. If you've had the pleasure of working in one of these environments before, then you know how truly special it is.

Down Island is currently open daily for lunch (11 am-3 pm), happy hour (3-5 pm), and dinner (5-10 pm). We are also open on Sunday for brunch (10 am-3 pm).

The pay is flexible depending on your experience! Prior experience working as a line cook or oyster shucker is required.

In a perfect world, our ideal candidate will have all of the following traits/attributes: dependability, positivity (a good attitude+works well with others to maintain a happy work environment), ability to lead, good communication, willingness to learn+grow, and a can-do attitude that rolls with the punches (flexibility).
