Full Job Description

Temporary School Portrait Assistant

Location: Local High School

Duration: Three-day assignment (potential for future events)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

About the Position

Yearbook Partner is looking for a dependable, outgoing individual to assist with photographing students during a high school portrait event.

No professional photography experience is required. We will provide all necessary training.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using technology, and can follow a consistent process.

Responsibilities

Greet students in a friendly and professional manner
Scan each student's QR code for identification
Guide students into the correct pose
Make simple adjustments to clothing, posture, and facial direction
Compose each portrait using camera guides
Focus the camera and capture the image
Keep students moving efficiently through the portrait line
Ensure every student has a positive experience

Qualifications

Friendly and professional personality
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable learning new technology
Detail-oriented
Able to stand for extended periods
Able to follow instructions carefully
Comfortable interacting with teenagers
Photography experience is a plus, but not required

Training

Paid training will be provided before the event. You'll learn the entire portrait process, including equipment operation, posing, and workflow.

Future Opportunities

This is a temporary three-day assignment, but additional portrait events may be available throughout the school year for dependable team members.
