Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Stretch Practitioner to join our dynamic fitness team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing clients’ flexibility, mobility, and overall physical well-being through targeted stretching techniques. Your expertise will help clients improve their movement patterns, prevent injuries, and achieve their fitness goals. As a vital member of our studio, you will inspire and motivate individuals of all ages and fitness levels to embrace the benefits of proper stretching and body mechanics. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients’ health while advancing your career in the fitness industry.

Responsibilities

Conduct personalized stretching sessions tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and physical condition
Educate clients on proper body mechanics and safe stretching techniques to optimize results
Design effective stretching programs that incorporate principles of physiology and anatomy knowledge
Assess clients’ flexibility, mobility, and movement patterns to identify areas for improvement
Support group fitness classes or physical education sessions with stretching components
Promote the benefits of regular stretching for injury prevention, recovery, and overall health
Maintain detailed records of client progress and adjust programs accordingly

Requirements

Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics as they relate to stretching and movement
Experience in program design for individual or group settings within a fitness or sports coaching context
Background in assisted stretching, mobility coaching, athletic recovery, bodywork, personal training, rehabilitation, or group fitness instruction preferred.
Excellent communication skills to motivate and educate clients effectively
Proven sales ability in a health club or gym environment to promote services and memberships
Knowledge of fitness sales strategies and customer engagement techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
