Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analytics Project Coordinator to support data-driven projects, reporting, and financial/business analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional who genuinely enjoys working with data, organizing information, building spreadsheets, and turning large amounts of information into clear and useful reports.

The ideal candidate is an Excel expert who loves creating, organizing, analyzing, and improving spreadsheets. This person should be extremely comfortable working with large datasets and have experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

A background or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, organize, clean, and analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel.
Build and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, trackers, reports, dashboards, and financial models.
Utilize advanced Excel functions including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, PivotCharts, IF statements, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, conditional formatting, data validation, and advanced formulas.
Consolidate information from multiple spreadsheets and data sources into organized, accurate reporting.
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to help leadership visualize trends, KPIs, financial information, and project performance.
Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other business reporting.
Track project milestones, deliverables, deadlines, and data requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments to collect and validate information needed for reporting and analytics projects.
Identify inconsistencies, missing information, duplicate data, and other data-quality issues.
Improve existing spreadsheets and reporting processes to make them more efficient and user-friendly.
Develop standardized templates and processes for recurring reports.
Prepare reports and data summaries for leadership and other stakeholders.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all projects.
Assist with special projects involving data analysis, financial information, reporting, and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Strong working knowledge of Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working with large amounts of data and multiple spreadsheets simultaneously.
Ability to identify patterns, discrepancies, and trends within data.
Strong understanding of basic financial and business concepts.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
