Joe Louis Southern Kitchen Servers love early mornings, have an inherent passion about serving others, delivering excellence in hospitality and are among the best in their field. In addition, our Servers required to:

Uphold our 7 Steps of Service and our tenents of Seamless Service.
MUST be flexible to work as a host, and in our retail and carryout areas.
Continually champion both a supportive, respectful and collaborative teamwork environment with their fellow team members.
Ensure that all of our guests feel valued and are treated with kindness and respect.
Radiate a positive attitude, are friendly and takes pride in keeping our restaurant spotless and organized.
Passionate about serving high-quality, ethically prepared, delicious meals in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
You'll be fully cross-trained to master all front-of-house positions. We expect our team members to be flexible and work in multiple roles as business demands fluctuate.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time; stoop, bend as well as lift and carry heavy plates and/or bags and boxes.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

What we offer:

Hourly rate of $5.49 per hr + tips
Profit Sharing after 1 year of employment

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, preferably in fast casual and fine dining settings.
Familiarity with Toast POS and OpenTable systems is highly desirable.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Basic math skills for cash handling and bill processing.
Previous experience as a host or cashier roles is a plus.
Culinary and/or bartending experience or kitchen knowledge can be beneficial for assisting with expediting food. Join our team as a Server and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests while working in a vibrant atmosphere!
