TITLE: Production Operations Specialist Dry Cleaning

COMPANY: Recovery Cleaners, Inc.

LOCATION: Madison Heights, MI

We're a Michigan-based restoration and dry cleaning company trusted by insurance carriers, adjusters, and homeowners during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We restore clothing, linens, shoes, and soft contents damaged by disaster, and we treat every single item like it belongs to our own family, because to someone, it does.

We're growing, we're expanding, and we need the right person running our production floor to make that growth possible.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a sharp, fast-moving, people, first Production Operations Specialist to help run day-to-day operations alongside our Production Manager. This is a high-impact role for someone who sees the whole picture, not just their corner of it.

You'll be the person who makes sure every station , dry cleaning, laundry, hand cleaning, shoe and accessory restoration, scanning, and pack-out, is hitting its numbers, holding quality standards, and moving efficiently. You'll answer phones, talk to customers, coordinate crews for pickups and deliveries, and keep our internal job management systems accurate and up to date. You'll also help manage logistics with our Ohio sales team as we expand into new markets.

This role requires someone who can think on their feet, ask the right questions when they need to, and still run independently without someone standing over their shoulder.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Oversee daily operations across dry cleaning, laundry, hand cleaning, scanning, and pack-out departments

- Make sure every station is hitting its production numbers and quality standards

- Identify bottlenecks on the floor and fix them - not just flag them

- Manage incoming calls and customer communication with empathy and professionalism

- Coordinate crews for pickups, deliveries, and field logistics

- Maintain accuracy in our internal job management and tracking systems

- Support logistics and coordination with our Ohio sales representatives as we scale

- Occasionally support road crews on first assessments and field jobs

- Help build and refine processes as we expand into new markets

Skills that will set you apart

- Experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or large-scale textile operations

- Understanding of garment handling, fabric types, and cleaning processes

- Ability to read a production floor and know exactly where things are slowing down

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Comfortable with computer systems for scanning, inventory, and job tracking

- Experience coordinating crews, schedules, or logistics

- Clear, positive communication with team members and customers alike

- Restoration industry experience is a plus but not required - we will train the right person

COMPENSATION

- $43,000.00-$45,000.00
