Kenosha Releasing (subsidiary of Cassens Transport Company) is currently in search of a hard working, dependable individual to fill a Yard Supervisor position at our Detroit location. Position requires the flexibility to work nights, overtime and weekends. Candidates will be hired on for a probation period, if the candidate fits the needs of the position, they will be hired on full time with benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401k)
Duties include:
Direct Supervision of workers in the field
Customer support and daily report preparation.
Ensure employee compliance of all State, Federal and Company rules.
Inventory Management and productivity evaluation.
Support terminal manager and operations supervisors as needed.
Applicants must:
Have an open schedule.
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills is required.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with the capability to work independently.
Proficient with technology (computers, scanners, tablets, printers, smart phones).
Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
21 years or older
Associates or higher preferred.
Maintain neat and professional appearance
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Previous supervisor experience is a plus,

Pay: $40,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
