Full Job Description

Job Summary

Property Information: This is a cashless hotel with no swimming pool or meeting rooms.

Join our hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk. You will be the first point of contact for our guests and responsible for providing a welcoming, professional experience from check-in through check-out. Key responsibilities include managing reservations, processing card payments, answering guest questions, resolving concerns, and coordinating with other hotel departments.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, guest-focused individual to strengthen their customer-service and hotel-operations experience in a professional environment.

Duties

Welcome guests and provide a smooth, friendly check-in and check-out experience
Manage reservations, payments, and guest accounts accurately using Cloudbeds
Answer phone calls and provide information about hotel amenities, services, etc
Respond professionally to guest requests, questions, and complaints
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, management to resolve guest concerns promptly
Complete shift reports and perform night-audit duties when assigned
Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
Maintain guest privacy and protect confidential information

Qualifications

Previous hotel front-desk or customer-service experience is preferred
Strong communication, guest-service, and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills; experience with Cloudbeds or another hotel PMS is a plus
Ability to accurately process reservations, payments, check-ins, and check-outs
Professional appearance and a positive attitude
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to multitask and remain calm when handling guest concerns
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
