MPA Collision of Livonia | Full-Time | Paid Training | Immediate Opening

Tired of sitting behind a desk all day?

Michigan Premier Auto (MPA) is looking for a motivated Office Assistant who wants more than a typical office job. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn collision repair estimating while building a long-term career in the automotive industry.

At MPA Collision of Livonia, we repair more than 120 vehicles every month. No two days are the same. You'll be involved in customer service, vehicle repair planning, insurance communication, parts ordering, production tracking, and office operations—all while learning one of the most valuable skill sets in the collision repair industry.

No estimating experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and ready to grow with our company. Estimator training will begin after successful completion of front-office training and demonstration of proficiency in daily office operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As you learn the estimating process, you'll work directly with technicians, customers, vendors, and insurance companies to:

✔ Support front office operations

✔ Answer phones and monitor email

✔ Assist customers throughout the repair process, keeping them fully updated

✔ Create and update repair estimates using CCC ONE estimating software

✔ Order and track parts

✔ Communicate with insurance companies

✔ Monitor repair progress and vehicle status

✔ Assist with production scheduling

✔ Help deliver an exceptional customer experience

✔ Maintain a professional and organized front office environment

✔ Assist other departments as needed to support team success

✔ Take initiative to identify issues and help find solutions

✔ Perform vehicle scans to verify systems are functioning properly and identify any fault codes

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that includes a combination of desk work, standing, walking, moving throughout the shop, and working outdoors as needed to direct tow trucks, coordinate vehicle movement, perform diagnostic scans, inspect completed repairs, and conduct final quality control checks before vehicles are returned to customers

Excellent computer skills

Experience with Google Workspace

Valid driver's license
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that includes a combination of desk work, standing, walking, moving throughout the shop, and working outdoors as needed to direct tow trucks, coordinate vehicle movement, perform diagnostic scans, inspect completed repairs, and conduct final quality control checks before vehicles are returned to customers
